FROM THE RAILWAY AND BUS  STATION:

Tram or bus:

Tram or bus ticket costs 3,60 pln (~1 EUR) plus an extra ticket for your luggage.  There are ticket mashines on the tram/bus stops.

Take the tram # 4, 13, 14, 15, 20, 24 or buses # 124, 152, 424 and go only one stop to the Basztowa LOT bus/tram stop. Go with the dashed route around 5 min. That’s it! Have a nice time.

On foot:

You can walk that way in 5-10 min. Leaving the train station follow the directions to the centre. When you leave the underground passage,  turn right and walk round the Planty (the park surrounding the old centre). Go past the Barbican and immediately cross the street at the zebra crossing. Go past the traffic lights and then take the next right into Krowoderska street. Go straight ahead for about two minutes. Giraffe Hostel is on the right.

Taxi:

There is a taxi stand on Bosacka and Topolowa street right next to the station. Taxi should cost no more than 20 zloty and will take 5-10 minutes. Confirm the price with the driver before you get in to the car!

FROM THE AIRPORT:

Airport Transfer:

Private shuttle service from Krakow Balice Airport costs 70-80 PLN per run (up tp 4 pax.). If you want to book it, contact us.

Bus:

Tram or bus ticket costs 3.60 pln (~1 EUR) plus an extra ticket for your luggage. There are ticket mashines on the tram/bus stops.

During the day: take bus #208 or 292  to the Grottgera bus stop, walk a little further until you reach Krowoderska street turning right, walk down Krowoderska around 5 minutes, Giraffe will be on the left.

At night: take the 902 night bus and go to the Basztowa LOT bus stop. Go with the dashed route around 5 min. That’s it!

! IMPORTANT NOTICE ! – bus takes the longest – it is 25 stops which will take up to 45 minutes, so if you have a choice take a train:)

Train:

Take the shuttle train to the Kraków Train Station (takes 20 minutes). The train goes every 30 minutes and costs around 10 zł (2,5 €). Then follow the directions of how to get from the railway station (given above).

Taxi:

You can take a taxi from the airport. The cost is around 100 zł (22 €) and it takes around 25 minutes. We can arrange airport pick up for you so you will not be ripped off by unfair taxi drivers. Just e-mail us your flight details.
